Biography
After receiving my undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences, I realized that I liked people too much for a career in a research lab, and fish don’t talk back. That realization led me to pursue a career in Hospitality. After five years in hotel operations and business development, I made the decision to return to school for my MBA so that I can add to my business knowledge and reach my fullest potential. In my career, I have excelled at organizing and placing individuals in roles where they can make an impact and achieve professional growth. Through my MBA, I have been able to give that same mentorship/professional coaching back to myself and grow as a servant leader. Throughout my MBA, I have consistently taken on opportunities to build on my skillset whether through my role as President of the MBA Association or as a Lead Consultant in Aggies in Business. In all of these projects, I bring a creative mindset and vision, encouraging group thinking and collaborative dialogue. I plan to bring that positive attitude and demeanor to a career in consulting where I can deploy my critical thinking and problem-solving skills in an impactful well. Deloitte excites me because of its passion for professional development. The mission of “helping our clients and our people excel” incorporates my need for selfless service with my passion for personal and professional growth. I am confident that my values will align well with those of Deloitte and I am excited to grow with a company that has a reputation for being competitive with the competition while being supportive and collaborative within the firm. Thank you for your time and consideration.
