Biography

I completed my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in 2017. After that, I spent five years working for companies like TechnipFMC and Baker Hughes. I worked in various roles during both my stints. In my last job as a team lead, I realized I liked leading a team and working with data (Oil well data), hence I made a conscious decision to pursue an MBA plus MS in analytics from Texas A&M University – Mays Business School. During my career, I have excelled at organizing and placing individuals in roles where they can make an impact and achieve professional growth. Through my MBA, I will be able to give that same coaching back to myself and grow as a servant leader. During my last job, I had to spontaneously lead my team during my first project as the planned personnel (team lead) fell sick. I, with the help of my team, adapted and executed that project with finesse and on time which led to my promotion as a team lead. The skillset that I possess along with the opportunities at Mays to build on my skillset will set me apart from the crowd. In all my projects, I bring a creative mindset and vision, encouraging group thinking and collaborative dialogue. I plan to bring that positive attitude and demeanor to a career in strategy and management where I can deploy my critical thinking and problem- solving skills in an impactful manner. I envision myself helping the organization, reshaping its business as per market needs, and driving competitiveness through innovation, high performance, and customer satisfaction.
